Art Auction!

I have decided that every month I am going to auction off an original artwork on my Facebook page for a chance for friends/family/fans, who otherwise would not be able to afford my work, to own an original painting for a fraction of what they usually go for. This is the second Art Auction I have had this year and it’s my aim to do it every month for the whole year!

This is a rather special piece I painted in 2010 and is based on a strange out of body experience I had after taking muscle relaxers for a migraine:) It’s dreamy, it’s surreal, it’s peaceful and most importantly it’s different. This original oil painting features a dreamy surreal landscape with bright colours, in which nothing is left of the body except the hair and an imprint where the body once was. I wanted to give an impression of a body or spirit that has just disappeared, through some kind of astro travel into the collective unconscious…or something like that!:) The strange protrusions would be fed by the heat/energy left behind by the body;) Makes total sense I know. Very fine detail and paintwork.
